What is a coven? What are their function?
According to lore, a Coven is a collection of vampires behaving as a family. In-game, they serve a very similar purpose, acting as a group of users seeking to advance themselves as a group. Covens have a private chat and forum available to them for communication, as well as another form of battle: Coven Wars.

Why does Vampire Genesis occasionally slow down or crash?
During server off-times (typically between 22:00 CST and 6:00 CST), the server performs a daily back-up, which will cause the game to load slowly or not load at all. This is normal, and will alleviate itself. If the game is suffering an extended outage, the best thing to do is wait; it will be resolved in a timely fashion.

How do I manage my friends in-game?
To add a user to your friends list, go to their profile and click add friend. To manage your friends, go to myCovenWars.

What do the numbers next to a user's name mean?
The number next to the name of every user is their Identification Number. It is used to identify users in case they change names, and cannot be changed.

What do the various statistics do?
There are three primary statistics that are trainable. Agility affects your ability to hit your opponent, Endurance affects how long you can last in battle, and Strength determines how much damage you can deal and how much damage you can take.

Is it against the rules to have more than one account?
According to the Rules of the game, users are not allowed to have more than one account; each additional account is called a multi (short for multiple account), and will be promptly jailed. There is one exception to this rule: multiple users are allowed to access the game from the same internet connection with approval from a staff member beforehand.

What does my player age mean?
Player age is the amount of days you have been playing. It is marked as years on your profile page.

When are premium packages applied?
The application of a premium package can take up to one week from the purchase date; all premium packages are manually applied.

How do I add music to my profile?
Only premium users are allowed to add music to their profile. Once you have premium activated on your account, edit your profile.

Is it possible to delete or reset my statistics?
It is possible to reset, not delete them, using the Pink Vial.

What are turns? How do I get them?
Turns are the method of performing actions in the game, such as battling, hunting, and playing some games in the arcade. Each user receives turns every half hour: premium users receive 13, while non-premium users receive 10. Users can store a maximum number of turns (700 for premium users, 500 for non-premium users) before they stop receiving turns; users can still go over this number, but they will not receive turns after that point.

Why do some users have special name colors?
There are two answers to this question. Staff members of the website have a certain set of colors their names could be (check this page to see a detailed breakdown). Users who have purchased a special premium package also have the ability to change the color of their name.

What are vials? What do they do?
Vials are used to give players premium benefits or special items. A complete list of every vial can be found here.

Why am I being attacked?
You are being attacked because another user wants experience and money. Users can attack another user if they have at least 1/3 of their net worth, regardless of level.
