Walking through the dark night cold, scared and tired, looking for something so precious to her that she lost many centuries ago. She screams, no one comes. She is all alone!. She whispers to herself " I wish I was home" she then laughs at her comment "home." She didn`t know what home was. Her homelife was not a pleasant experience, she prefered not too remember those days, although once in a while she would remember what her farther did too her, did too her mother... Charlotte Jane. My mother one of such beauty. Age just 18 when she was violently attacked by her now husband. It wasn't her choice to marry him but one of her fathers' choice. He did not know what was happening behind closed doors.The beatings were brutal yet he did not harm her where it was visable so no one would know any different. She was defenseless for he was so much stronger than her. She would be ordered around and she had to obey because if she didn`t their would be consequences. She was ordered to get him dinner as normal, he followed her into the kitchen and sat down in the chair behind her. He sat watching every move she made and if she cut something the wrong way or did something that was to his dissatifaction he would hit her but this time he had more evil intentions for her. She was cutting up the meat into chunks the same size she always had been taught by her own mother but her hand slipped off the wet knife and he noticed, he grabbed her hair and dragged her upstairs to the bedroom. He had already got the room set out, the windows were blackened, there were chains on the bed and a lock on the door. He pulled her up covering her mouth as she desperately tried to scream for help. He closeed the door behind them both and locked it, pulling her over to the bed as she struggled to break free from his ever tightening grip. He whispered in her ear " now be a good girl and do as I say." His grin so evil he threw her on the bed and ripped her clothes off. He then chained her naked body to the bed, He slowly undid his jeans and raped her with his hand covering her mouth all the time. She screamed in agony.

He finished his harsh attack and undid the chains throwing her clothes at her. He did what he wanted and he knew that she wouldn't say anything to anyone. She got herself dressed her hands shaking with fear, the pain had still rushed in her body. She had walked downstairs back to the kitchen, she looked into the lounge and found him sat in his chair watching tv. She continued walking towards the kitchen horrified over what had just happened. She stopped and leaned against the door frame trying to get herself together. She stood there for about 5 minutes before going back to the meat she had been cutting. She continued to make his meal while in the back of her mind she knew their was no chance of her getting any food that night. She got the tray and put his plate of food on it and grabbed him a beer. She had walked into the lounge and walked over to him placing the tray on his lap avoiding getting in the way of the tv. The few times she had done this he would put her in the cellar for days only letting her out once a day, which was when he wanted his food. She quietly returned to the kitchen and sat down as she wasn't allowed to be in the same room as him. The only rooms she really knew were the kitchen, bathroom and the bedroom. She had been forbidden and threatened with her life if she even thought let alone stepped outside. Months went by unaware she had become pregnant until the day she had given birth. She had remembered the crippling pain so well. The urge to push overwhelmed her, screaming in pain he had just stood there not going for help. He had just watched with hate in his eyes until she had pushed his child out.

Six hours of pushing went by until finally a babies cry was heard, quickly she picked up the new life she had just given birth too. She cried as she muttered "It's a girl." She noticed he had gone but seconds later he returned with towels, water, scissors and some string. He threw them down next to her and walked out looking back with disgust in his voice he said "your nothing to me you are worthless now you've had that thing" he slammed the door shut before locking her in with her new baby girl. She was terrified for she didn't know what to do.

Slowly she brought herself around from the shock and wrapped her baby girl in the towels. She took the string and sanitized it as best she could and cut it in two equal lengths. She took a piece and tied it tightly around the umbilical cord near the babies stomach and tied the other piece higher up as too not make a mess and cut it just above the strings with the scissors. She took a spare towel and wetted it and cleaned the baby before drying it and wrapping it up so the new reason for her living would stay warm. She gathered as much energy as she had left and discared the placenta and cleaned the area a bit for she knew if she hadn't he would hurt her and possibly the baby.
