Many know of me; but few people know me, I am Khristhana Shade of Shadowed Light. Some say a relentless killer.. blinded with rage and hatred. Others will tell you of a girl with a troubled past.. compassionate and caring. The truth is; I am neither, I feel nothing. How can one feel no emotion? All humans feel emotions.. you cannot simply shut that off. Well assuming I'm human is your first mistake. My name is Khristhana Shade, and I have been 23 for the last 6 centuries. I am a vampire.

I have survived by following the code of my coven. I once took an oath; I once recited:

I do solemnly swear; to serve the coven shadowed light with the loyalty of an angel, and the behavior of a demon.
There is no good. There is no evil.
There is darkness. In the dark I shall be a light.
There is light. In the light I shall be darkness.
There are shadows. Nothing is clear.
Everything is dark. Everything is light.
In the end.. I will emerge victorious as the monster I truly am. As the immortal I am. As the undead I am. The vampire I am.


When all those I cared for were gone, I had nothing left to care for. Some spend their eternity finding new people to care for. Such a way of being is one filled with much pain. Where you would cling to your humanity like a child clings to it's mother; I hold onto nothing. I am not good. I am not evil. I just am. We exist. If your existence threatens mine, then consider yourself to be terminated.

Where a human would long for love; I long for lust. Where a human would wish happiness; I wish for satisfaction. Where a human would be angry; I am filled with rage. Where a human would be sad; I am empty. Where a human would have hope; I'd have a plan. The only thing we have in common with humans.. Hunger. Where a human hungers for food, I too hunger for food. Where a human would be starving; I am fed. For I do not crave anything.. except for blood.
