a friend joined here yesterday I think & he just tried to come on & it said his IP addresss was banned?

I don't understand as other places allow phone access or did he get it wrong?

he is here as Tactitioner he is very bummed about it

can someone shed some light on this please?

it may be that the router he is using is the same as someone else thus the IP may be the same though networking is not my strongpoint

His account isn't jailed so I'm assuming the server banned him. It's happened on several occasions to various players here. Maybe someone else could shed a little more light on it for you, but I'd just tell him to wait it out. It'll get fixed eventually. =]

The owner of the site removed the bot that server banned people so that is not he case here. He is not jailed from the site either. Is there a way he can clear his history and try again?

he uses laptop at home phone from work
he did say he was unwell so maybe he was doing something different but was not noticing
he was told to rest while he was at work so I am willing to bet he fell asleep
different timezones as well as countries is hard if he replies I'll tell him see if that helps
