I'm not sure. I didn't pay much attention to the series. Last I heard, most of the Yankee stars did horribly in the playoffs. I think Jeter's injury kinda did them in.

I hope it is but then again he's the type of player that will go back to the drawing board, find out what was causing the slump and fix it. He might come back better than ever next season like he has done in the past. If we do dump him though we could relieve some of that contract and possibly get someone better in return.
