I, for one, believe in just about every myth and legend. I think there's at least a thread of truth in every story. ;P

From the little i know of this myth which isnt much i dont think there is any tangible evidence to support its existence,my guess is its based on some folklore from the area in question but i will look into this it sounds interesting :P

I think things like aliens are real, cuz I'll tell you how many planets there are all together, Infinaty, aka never ending, and if earth is the only one with life, in other words its impossible.

I think that it's possible these things are real. Look at greek mythology the cyclops was a human with one eye which is a real deformity same with mermaids. I think all these mythical creatures are real ones with major deformities.

Has anyone heard of the Dublin Banshee? I just watched Destination Truth, and they went to this castle in Ireland to see of they could catch a glimpse of one

Personally? This one's Bullshit. Although things like the Yeti and such can exist, it does make sense. Areas like that are not easy to explore.

Both. Mermaids would have been both discovered by know and they would have contacted us. Or vice versa. Plus, like us, their population would expand until we find them all over the place or they overpopulate the sea and totally screw up the ecosystem, which they haven't, ergo, they don't exist. The Jersey Devil? Again, would've found it by now. It lives in a set area (which I've been to), and it's pretty small, considering the range of land creatures are usually found in. And it also would have died by now. It's IMPOSSIBLE for something's DNA chain to withstand that period it was supposedly born in. Not for something that big. It's DNA would have deteriorated by now, and we'd have found its remains (because it obviously has bones).
