Proof I need professional help in home decor xD. My room is as boring as most offices. King sized bed, desk, tv, dresser, end table, and closet. That's it. xD. White walls and noooo fancy lights.

Start with picking a color Scheme...one main color & one accent color.

Then get matching bedding in the main color...they have 'bed in a bag', it makes that part easy!
Then throw pillows or pillow shams in the accent color...

Get matching lampshades & curtains...

Get something FUN to hang from the ceiling in one of the colors...

paint the walls

candles

mirror

throw rug

picture board-to put pix up

dry erase board

paint some wooden picture frames-use regular paint & then bubble paint to add designs

hooks for the walls, there are some cool ones

You can replace your dresser drawer knobs

matching plastic hangers, one or both of the colors

All those can be in one of the colors

any pictures or wall hangings, have a splash of the main/accent color...you can get boarders around the pictures within the frames in one of the colors

They have fun wall stickers, they're stick & peel

a form of shelving, you can paint them either of the colors, if they're wood or metal you can even paint them yourself, paint or spray paint

You can actually add paint to any items if you're creative like that
