Welcome to the first ever edition of "Gamer's Corner", this little segment will be where myself and Ninja-Toaser (158) review the newest games, including pictures, hints, tips and much more.

The first game under review goes to all those lucky Warhammer 40k fans, its "Space Marine". Space Marine places you straight into the boots of the Ultramarines as you hack, slash, and blow apart the Green Horde. For anyone who delights in ceaseless bloodletting and gorefestage of bad guys, this game does this well, albeit on too simple a level. As entertaining as cutting through Ork armies can be, the game lacks variety when it comes to killing them thousands of times over

The storyline behind Space Marine is unfortunately exactly what one would expect of a game involving a stereotypical Marine of any form; run in, shoot people, rinse and repeat until nothing is left to shoot. The story is linear, and the "twists" in the plot are nothing short of the obvious inevitable, and while the cliff-hanger at the end sets up a sequel, you probably won't feel too interested in what might happen next.

A background on the Ultramarines:

The Ultramarines are one of the finest Chapters of the Space Marines. They have had countless victories, mainly due to the expertise of their Primarch, Guilliman who was also the same person to create the Codex Astartes. The most famous of the battles that they have won is the Battle for Macragge where they defeated the Hive Fleet Behemoth becoming the first Space Marines to defeat the Tyranids. They carry a boltgun and a short-sword (Gladius). The Honour Guard of the Ultramarines carry very powerful close combat weapons known as Axes of Ultramar.

Fighting green goblin enemies sounds kind of cool. I will like to see the next issue of this forum cause I am a gaming nerd. :D

You should do gears 3.

What about the badass moves you can pull in that game? Story is secondary to gameplay, and I see nothing mentioned of that here. Plus you haven't given it a score. Just a few things I think could make the review better.

I, for one, am enjoying what gameplay I have had of it yet (although I don't own it yet, but I plan to, soon.)

Remember, this is only the first. :D I shall make it better.
Also, these reviews are base on my personal experience. I am sorry that you disagree.

I understand that, but if you're not doing gameplay, I tend to think that doesn't do the game justice. My personal favorite example would be MegaMan Zero 4. Fun game, iffy storyline. Still recommended due to gameplay. I just think the gameplay aspect is downplayed here. Give more detail to your opinion, that's al I'm trying to say.

Other than that, it'd be a pretty good review.
