[c=gold]A lot of the time here on VG I log on, do 6 quests and am done. It takes me like 1 hour to do everything I need to do in the day. A way to increase activity might be to have a feature where you can play at all times. It costs no turns, money, soulshards etc.
An example is an arena where you fight hoards of enemies with little to no rewards. It seems stupid saying "little to no rewards" but that is cause it's free to attack. There could be rewards but to keep it simple "little to no rewards".
Having something to do all day here would make it interesting. It would give people a reason to stay and have fun. Cause most things take very little time here to achieve. Something we can do all day 24/7 would be great. Cause everything in this game has limits. You run out of turns, you log out. If there was an area where it was a free for all, players would be able to stay on VG all day and not be bored.
So to keep it simple...
I suggest since we are fighting humans in hunting, vampires in PVP, and clones. Why not fight something like demons, angels, zombies, mummies, etc for free all day. Make it more interesting. If the no reward makes people hate this idea, Scot could always add in a random generator where you can win certain prizes randomly. Like you steal enemies weapons/armor or find various vials off corpses.
So what do you think, does this game need something you can play all day or is it fine using all your turns and logging out?[/c]
Potion Master Premium
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You should be able to buy premium in this game at a high price. This is so it takes money out of the game. Also people who can't afford premium can play without having the very unfair premium bonuses people get. Like max turns 500 instead of 700. Premium makes every player better in almost every way. So here I think 1,000,000$ and 1,000 soulshards for $1 USD (Maroon Vial). so a Platinum Vial would cost 100,000,000 and 100,000 Soulshards. That is x10 of the soulshards we needed back when premium was purchasable. It takes money out of the game and allows members to get the boost they need to reach their goals. Not sold on the idea. How about a vial that grants 30 days of premium for 5,000,000$ in-game money.
Quests
[c=#c6df9c]Craft 2 items!
Gain 5 karma!
Level up!
Earn 20 honor!
Gain Premium!
There are many things to make quests on. Doing this little things each day adds towards an achievement. They also give little boosts to blood and money. People either say there are enough quests or (Mostly) there needs to be more quests. That is a little list I made that players should try to achieve everyday. [/c]
Weapon/Armor
Instead of having each weapon and armor with fixed effectiveness, how would you like to just always keep 1. Have a weapon and armor you buy and upgrade on your own over a course of time. It's been thought of, but no players have ever gave comment on. The whole thing with weapons and armor is there is either too many or too little. Crafting helps but over all Lestat might find it easier to just have 1 weapon and 1 armor you make as good as you can over a course of time. Thoughts?
Battle
Right now battles can be quite lengthy. If two members heal 50% of the time you can literary see 1000's of actions until enemy runs out of endurance. It's a battle of immortals. Maybe have it to where when you attack someone, instead of seeing a whole list of actions, you see your damage dealt and enemy dealt with only two lines.
Buy Name Factory
After a while you really like your name. So much it would be nice to actually own it. Buy a name for a price of currency and you can keep that name forever. You can change names without others stealing your old and you can even buy your last name that can be sold. This will be good for premium members as keeping a name can be tough. Especially if you change it from time to time.
Mass Hunt/Clone Kills
I would really love if you could use an x amount of turns for hunting or clone killing. Clicking the same link and buttons take a long time and sometimes it overloads the site. If there was a simple type of hunting where you can use x amount of turns in 1 location, I would be soo happy. In fact how many times will I want to kill a clone a day? On average 600-700. That is a lot of clicking the same link.
The War System
[c=lime]There are a bunch of things I will suggest here. First off covens need their own turns. It is no fun using your turns killing low leveled members just for an honor point. If the coven had its own turns we'd probably use it more often. Most people like using their turns for something more rewarding. If the coven starts out with turns it wouldn't hurt anyone to use them.
Another thing that would be cool is to eliminate the PVP system from it. Base the power the coven has with it's actual level. The players can still support with resources and still take just as long to die. Our covens though would be like our kingdom and it acts as a unit instead of each individual player. So making two covens act as a member then fighting could be fun. All players could use the coven as a whole so it won't matter if your level 1, the coven would still be higher level. This could make it more rewarding for using turns.
Also the blood rewards we get from War'ing is not great at all. All the members could kill a coven 20 times in a day. At the end of the PVP battles the coven itself got only a small portion of blood. If there is any way of making the rewards for winning (thus playing) more people would like it. What's to come from honor?[/c]
Clones
[c=brown]They are suppose to take money out of the game. That is the purpose. You pay a price and get a large sum of blood with money returned. My idea is to cut the money earned from clones altogether. When you attack a clone you don't get paid back is the idea. It's un-realistic to think a clone pays you to drink it.. So I suggest removing the money you get from killing a clone.
Next suggestion works best with above suggestion. Lower the price to attack. If clones don't give money back the money needed to attack should be down. Paying the 5000 isn't bad when you get money back but it is a lot if you don't. So my suggestion is no money back from clone killing and reduced price for attacking.[/c]
Money an issue?
How about capping us out at a certain amount. 999,999,999 could be an example. That means the player has the max amount. If that is too high set the max to 100,000,000 at which you have just enough for a Platinum Vial. You could re-scale how much money is possible to get. I get $2000+ for hunting 1 lucky human.
PVP
I think PVP should pay more money then it does. Make PVP the best way to get money. Hunting the best way to get soulshards, clones for blood, and wars for honor. PVP doesn't really hold well to me. I can get more blood, money and soulshards by hunting. Granted I hunt at a high level but PVP doesn't give that much blood, money or soulshards. If done right and PVP added more money say, level * 10 = $ from attacking a player. Plus the coven bonuses and money in hand. That would allow us to reward ourselves fairly using PVP.
Siblings
Everyone has seen the married feature. Many have spouses and are wed officially in-game. For the sake of suggestion it would be nice if you could broaden your family in-game. Have Siblings where you can see on profiles, who they are married to, who their kids are, and who their mother and father is. One page you propose for people to be your wife, child, or father, or mother. That could almost connect CW as a whole or show how many families there actually is.
Coven Arena
Okay, I'm not taking credit for this idea. It has been talked about a lot on site. The thing about being in a coven is you can't attack each other. Some people never leave their covens and want to attack each other sooner or later
So why not let us attack each other in our own arena? It doesn't matter the results. Just to be able to attack and help each other in game. Like if four or so members have close stats we can see what set ups there is.
Character Slots
[c=purple]There was once this game. It was known by thousands of people. They loved it and played everyday. It was very successful and many memebers of Coven Wars came from it. That game was Halocrusades.com Now known as warofcreation.com. It had many great features like team battles and battle of earth. Something CW might like was a premium option to have another character.
Making you a character slot would allow you to use two characters at once. You could train them different ways and have twice the fun on the game as your norm. Many things were great about War of Creation. This is just a suggestion to have premium members to do.[/c]
QOTD Loop
Instead of having mods create over 1000 questions for each day. Why not let the questions loop once we get so far. That way there will always be another question. More can be added but recycle the hundreds of questions we already have. Sometimes members go days without seeing a question of the day posted. Staff post them manually but after 1 use the question is good as dead. Repeat the questions of the days posted and let us delete the ones corrupt or add new ones.

[c=silver]This would fill in the gap between level 65 and 323. This is important cause the best thing about a game is to level up to your next goal. It would make CW have a lot more reasons to play, and grind for new stuff. This update is needed! Also here are some other interesting things to think of:
Adding soulcharged versions of these to crafting.
Adding in a Premium center for covens with premium where you can buy the gear 100% for currency. Suggestions of such currency would be coven tokens in which you get from winning wars.[/c]

Blood transfusion Scot!
[c=brown]Blood Transfusion give .01% of the blood needed to level on our level per turn. With 500 max turns/700 for premium. We could get 5%-7% of the blood we need to level in a day.
With this spending two weeks of turns would level up once. Not bad for all those who are lazy and want to spend turns fast.
This would not be any harder on the server or bandwidth then the gym or storage facility. It would just add a place where we slowly progress by 1 level every 2 weeks if we do it right.
Also PVP, Hunting and Clones would still give more blood. This new feature could be loved or hated. Feed back welcomed people. [/c]

Affinity Arena
[c=yellow]Affinity Arena should be level 100+ content where you gain four more alignment slots. This four new alignments will have the same effect as your current holy/unholy alignment does. Fire and Earth cause .5 more damage while Water and Wind heal for .5 of the damage you would have dealt. So holy, water, wind all cure you while unholy, fire, and earth add more to your punch.
The way you build up your alignment is not as fast as building your holy/unholy alignment. You gain it at the arena every time you battle a spirit. The spirits are either a fire, water, earth, or wind spirits. You can travel in the arena like you can hunting. Although it is wise to increase all your new "Alignments".
The bottom number on an alignment is 0. It can only increase from there. However if you train a certain element your other alignments may go down. This is why each element adds a different total when in the arena. Alignments can be lowered if you choice to walk in a the path of a different alignment. This is how the system would work.
When going to fire.
+3 to fire, -2 to water, +1 to wind, +2 to earth.
When going to Water
-2 to fire, +3 to water, +2 to wind and +1 to earth.
When going to Wind
+2 to fire, +1 to water, +3 to wind, -2 to earth.
When going to Earth
+1 to fire, +2 to water, -2 to wind, +3 to earth.
But the arena is different as you don't travel. Enemies are half your level (clone stats) and the blood given is half players and half covens. No matter what covens get the same amount of blood the player gets. No coven tax works here. Other then that each time you train an alignment the spirits get stronger. There is no way to move up or down there is the four elements to attack.. So to train fire 200 times I could click fire 200 times but when they are too strong I die until I heal.
Alignment levels up in a exp system. Each time you collect enough fire power your fire alignment increases by 1. So for starters you would need 100 fire points. After that the points needed to gain a fire alignment would increase by 100. On the screen shot you will see Fire 0% LV 1. 0% mean you have no exp for fire. After the screens fight it would be 3% fire, 0% Water, 1% Wind, 2% Earth. Level is actually your over-all won alignment points. So it is harder to cast these new attacks/cures in battle but it gives the CW community something to do.[/c]
