and at this point I don't see why not...but I'd rather see some other updates before that one. actually I think without other updates upping the level cap would even seem pointless to me hmph

Agreed. Without other areas, quests etc added, there's really no point in upping the level cap. As it is right now, there's only 11 players who are actually level 250 and a few that are not quite close enough. Raising the level cap should (in my opinion) only be raised if the game were more active, there were more players close to 250 and there were more areas to explore.

Raising the level cap any higher would require, I think, more AP to be issued. 20 for being level 250 is low and should be giving out more in some way. Pretty soon, everyone would only be getting the 20 and their levels would be above 250.

Assuming that removing the level cap is quite an easy task to do, I don't see why we wouldn't. This game is becoming more and more inactive, and having something such as a race of levels would really spice this game up again.

no it wouldn't with you old pimps up there...hmph ;P the clones took away the spice right now, I'd say...I see 'em as a two point dagger...they're there to keep lonely players amused cause there isn't really a thrill (or benefaction) in attacking inactive ones, and the other point is they're the helpful hand to the new ones...
there should be a better way for you lot with huge amount of money to spend it than upping yourself in a blink of an eye. or two blinks.


If I were an admin I'd put some effort in upgrading the Hunting grounds by making certain type of quests appearing on certain fields from which, for example, you can't move further on without completing. In very short terms put. In terms of programming I'd say this doesn't require more prickling with the code than just the time...

If I were an admin, I'd up the blood you get from coven wars. And perhaps make bonus quests when warring ...

There was a race of levels when the last one was removed and the 250 cap was put into place :P. After players hit that level, everything slowed down again. There are many factors as to why the game has become inactive and I don't think upping the level cap again would change anything.

There's nothing else to do but the daily quests (if users are still doing those), attacking clones/other players and hoarding lots of money that is not being used for anything IG. Add more areas to explore, more things to spend oodles of money on, different quests; public and coven and the activeness of the game might change. There's tons of suggestions in the forums to choose from that would benefit ALL users, not just higher levels.

Yes, and I understand that Sinclair. However what are the odds new content is actually going to be added to this inactive game, removing the level cap isn't new content, it shouldn't require any additional work... and that is why I suggested it.

I'm not saying that this alone will make the game more popular, why would it. I'm merely saying that the admin may as well to spice up the people that already dedicate their lives to playing the game, the high level players.

If new content was to be added, I agree with you... hunting should be a lot more interactive and the hoarding money is a big problem...

Allow me to shed some light on the cost of the coven's, if it was lower then there would be a lot more and the population would be diluted a lot more. In the past (on other site by the same admin/dev) it was at a set price. And because of that a lot of people made a lot of "clans" what we now call covens. So then was introduced the price increase. Every time a new coven was made the base price to make a coven went up. So now if you want to make a coven you must invest more to make it.

Basically it's acting as a, "Are you sure you want to make one? Why not join one with already active members" type of deal.

(side note: Although based on your ID you might've known that.)

However creations of new covens is currently bugged and if you do try to make one it'll only create an empty coven with no leader. But won't take anymore from your account. (luckily) I know because I've tried a few times.

And honestly this whole thread is silly. I mean most of the stuff would just be categorized as a "suggestions" not that it really matters since I assume most of the posts are also just for "fun".

Still would be nice for scot to do some much needed updates. Or even hire a guy to work on it.

and i dont wanna create a coven cause i love my current coven
but as for other members
cause the coven owners do lots of effort to invite members and to have high ranked coven
so my idea is to make this game active
You know we(players) like the social part of the game
in my opinion covens , ig relationships and questes can make this game active and interesting!

-Implement a new in-game currency. With this the players could unlock some cool boosts, buy premium (7-days or 30 days), purchase equipment, and use it as paying method.
-Run raffles with rewards such as in-game cash/ new currency, some boost or packs.
-Add “Ranks”. Starting from Rank E until Rank S/SS/SSS+/EX. And, I’d set an amount of levels required to be promoted to the next rank. (This means: More challenge)
-Revamp the gym.

This one is sort of redundant as we already have 2 currency methods (sorta) Money and Souls. You can think of Souls as the "premium" version, as they take a lot longer to acquire than normal money. However Scot(admin) would never allow the players to purchase premium packages with any type of new currency. As that would take away profits from him.

This has been requested before (I think I've even come up with ideas for it) and things like this has been done before but was done by hand (post in form and submit X money to raffel holder) this happened more often on one of Scot's older sites and I haven't seen it happen here very often if at all. But there is a raffle that is automated you can enter, only prize is money though.

This is an interesting idea. Although Scot would label the ranks probably more based on vampire names (as such the theme of the site). I'd probably think of other things that would require an advancement in your "rank" such as hunting level, crafting level, number of other players killed, your alignment, etc. That way not all Level 250's are the same rank. And would add some "prestige" among the higher ranks.


-Revamp the gym.

This has already happened before. The older method was, spend turns for X points. This was really really bad for site activity. Because you'd either spend a day training or playing. Couldn't have both. The new method is actually MUCH better. I'll explain, with the new method you get x points per day to use. The way the points are calculated is (Level*5)+200. The reason this is better is because it encourages players to level up. Higher your level the more points you can train on a daily basis. I get 1,400 points every day.

So the goal of the players should be, level up as much as possible each day so the next day you get even more points to use to train.

Just my 2 cents on those ideas.
