Also referred to as "Tomes of Knowledge," "History Tomes," or just simply "Tomes"... is a concept of mine for delivering Lore to CW in a way unlike previous iterations of PorcelainSky games.

This will require that some avenue be added to the game to acquire these Tomes. Tomes can only be procured through certain means, such as exploring certain sections of the site (a la Legendary Cards from HC) while other are random drops in hunting, or PvP.

These Tomes will each be uniquely titled and contain a small portion of Game Lore, either Background or Non-background;
--Background Lore is the story of Coven Wars, the Plot that drives the user’s character to where they are today. (ex. History books, Journals of Early Vampires, Records of first modern Vampire Emergences)
--Non-background Lore is anything that does not directly affect the plot of the game, such as Biographies of Obscure characters, poems, letters, legends, fiction, etc.

Lore or other content will be written by someone as deemed by Scot and upon reading them grant the reader (user) some kind of bonus depending on the rarity of the book (Lesser, Novice, Basic, Advanced, Rare, Epic, Legendary) with effects ranging from reward of turns to permanent stat gains like +5 to Agility.

The Main Background Lore will be contained within a "Beginner's Tome" that is received upon joining the site that a user must read in order to receive it's bonus, that being their starting stats (currently +5 to all stats and 500 Money) a "Daily To Do list" Notification or other such attention grabber will be there until they have completed this, after they have it will not appear again.

Upon receiving a Tome it will be sent to a user's "Bookshelf" and flagged as unread where after the user reads it. It will be moved to the "Read" section to be enjoyed again at a later time. Books cannot be removed from “Read” Shelf. (all current users would need the Beginner's Tome retroactively added to their "Read" bookshelf.) Only unread books may be sold, and only 1 copy of each title may be used for its bonus and placed on your “Read” Shelf.

…also there is the idea of Tome Sets, such as Volumes of a Story or separated chapters that give no bonuses until all the volumes have been collected & read.

I do like this idea.

This would create something to be saught after and add depth to the game.

It sure would, will this be instead of the legendary card or will it be together with the legendary cards?

Seeing for that is already a support ticket.

And to be honest I think his would fit more to this game then the legendary cards but that is just my personal opinion.

That is a separate idea, but could be together with it...
My reference to them here was just to give users (the ones that remember HC's Legendary Cards) the visual of just finding these tomes in hidden locations in the same manner.
