Due to the recent case of signature fraud we've had in this forum, the staff has decided to come up with a set of rules regulating the advertisement and sale of this type of merchandise here. Although it may seem restrictive to potential advertisers, it is our belief that a user capable of creating signatures will be able to cope with the restrictions.

To anyone that is interested in buying a signature from someone advertising in this forum: we suggest that you provide them with an image to work with, and a suggested color theme. This should allow you greater creativity over the signature you want, and will prevent an advertiser from fraudulently representing another's work as their own.

Users can no longer sell pre-made signatures.

What this means is that a user can't make a topic with an image labeled "your name here" and simply edit the image with the winner's name. A user can make a thread advertising their ability to create signatures, and another user may communicate with them if they are interested in contracting their services.

The reason we're limiting advertisers to this format is to eliminate the ease at which someone could steal a signature image from elsewhere and present it as their own here. If you want to buy a signature from someone here, they should be capable to make one given a base image (you can provide them with one) and some basic details like colors, size, and design.

Users caught selling signatures that are not their own will be banned and their right to post in this forum will be revoked.

There will be no exceptions to this rule. The severity of the offense may warrant greater punishment.
