Remember that using an auto refresher of any kind on Coven Wars is a jail able offense and will happen without warning.

I do not see why anyone would use an auto-refresher here. Anything that you might want to be auto-refreshed you can just manually refresh until you run out of turns in a minute or two.

Multiple things, firstly it falsely records time online thus skewing the records of total time online when one may not be (and seeing that it is in the HoF it is not fair to those who are online regularly), it can also pose problems when trying to contact someone who is shown as online, but truly is not.

Secondly, it is a waste of site resources when a user is constantly refreshing a page for no purpose, each time a page refreshes it send a request for data to the server, and when bombarded with a large quantity of requests this slows response time down for all user of the site and, much like a DoS attack, when the quantity of request reaches an extreme high point, it can cause a server crash.
